Our Liturgical Calendar has moved into Ordinary Time and during the next two months our choirs will be taking a well deserved break. Always “a work in progress,” summer for us is just a breather, a time to relax before we get a running start in late August.

During this time music for our liturgies will be led by our Cantors and Accompanists. Their role is to “support the singing done by the faithful, and direct the singing of the various hymns, allowing the people to sing their proper parts as well and to foster the active participation of the faithful by means of the singing.” (GERM 103)
