The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The parish community of St. Vincent de Paul welcomes those seeking to be members of the Catholic Church by inviting them to participate in the process of the Rite of Christian Initiation.  The RCIA (formation of adults) and RCIC (formation of children older than 6 years of age) provide opportunities for faith development and an introduction to the doctrine, rituals, and identity of the Catholic community.  The climax of the process is in the celebration of the “sacraments of initiation”: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil.
 
Classes are Thursday evenings from 6-7 PM offered in English & Spanish.
